How Raindance AI handles accounts, portraits and generated videos
2026/10/06
This page describes the implemented service. The operator's identity and support contact must be finalized before public launch.
Accounts and email
The main purchase flow uses Google sign-in after package selection. If configured, Google provides the account identity and verified email used to create a session; this flow does not require a password or separate email verification. We store the name, email, verified status and account/session information needed to operate the account. Legacy email/password routes remain available separately and may use Resend for verification and password-reset messages. Passwords and provider credentials are not published.
Photos and video generation
Selected photos stay in your browser until you submit generation. Browser drafts can remain on this device across sign-in. After submission, portraits are stored privately and provided to fal for video editing. Uploaded images are normalized to remove EXIF metadata. A valid account is required to access its own jobs and downloads.
Generated source videos and final videos are stored privately. Download links are short-lived and renewed only through the authenticated service. We only add examples to the public gallery after permission to publish their portraits and results is obtained.
Payments
PayPal hosts payment checkout and processes payment details under its own policies. We store PayPal order and capture identifiers, one-time purchase records, and reversal records to provide the service and reconcile billing. This application does not collect or store payment-card numbers. PayPal's region-specific privacy statement may apply to your account and transaction.
Retention
The service schedules photos and job media for removal after 30 days. Media required by an unresolved generation may remain until that job is resolved. Download access ends after the retention period. Operational and payment records are kept to support the account and reconcile purchases and billing. Local browser drafts can be removed by clearing this site's browser data.
Cookies and choices
Essential cookies maintain authentication and language/theme preferences. When configured, optional Microsoft Clarity analytics help us understand clicks, scrolling and page interactions through heatmaps and session recordings, along with browser/device and session data. The Clarity script loads only after you choose Allow analytics; advertising storage is denied. Choosing Essential only keeps it unloaded. You can change your choice through Analytics preferences in the homepage footer.
Uploaded portraits, generation results and account details are explicitly masked. We exclude sign-in, billing and video history pages, and URLs with query parameters, from this integration. We do not send email addresses or account identifiers as Clarity custom identifiers. Your preference is stored locally in this browser. Clarity processes permitted analytics data under Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
Contact the published support address to ask about your data or request account deletion. The production contact address is available on the Contact page.
Service providers' policies also apply: Google, fal, PayPal and Resend. PayPal may provide a different privacy statement for your region.
